Planning and demolition
Yeovil district hospital was a capital projects assignment that had multiple challenges which prepared the hospital for its ten year master plan. This consisted of the groundwork for further development of the site including demolition of multistorey buildings and using the crushed concrete to make a temporary carpark as well as a open French drainage system to prevent local flooding. Removal of asbestos throughout the hospital, providing ideas to solve bed blocking and reducing pressure on the Emergency Department by creating a spare ward from merging departments and diverting patients with complex conditions.
Refurbishment of a Grade II listed
A Grade II listed manor house was unfortunate to have a chimney fire with the resultant smoke damage. Our team undertook the cleaning up, repair and stabilisation of the old beams, then reinstating lath and plaster to finish as would be required in a property of this character.
House under the hill
Working in collaboration with our partners a thoughtful design within a protected hillside landscape was achieved. We shall update as the project progresses.
